About Laurel Joakimides
Laurel is an International bestselling author, inspirational speaker, and transformational coach certified through the Brave Thinking™ Institute. She works with organizations and individuals, helping them build their dreams, accelerate their results, and create richer, more fulfilling lives.
Faced with crumbling 40-year marriage, Laurel had a choice: rebuild her life from the ground up in a way she would love or stay with the status quo. Taking the road less traveled, she decided to live her dream. Today, as a Certified Life Mastery Consultant Laurel currently enjoys helping others connect with the most infinite side of themselves so they can live a life they love.
For more than 20 years Laurel enjoyed working in high-tech companies throughout Silicon Valley and Santa Cruz, California. In 1991 she became extremely frustrated by the multiple layers of destructive conflict going on within organizations and decided to enroll in a graduate studies program to become an educator and coach.
She began her teaching career as an adjunct professor in the Department of Communication Studies at San Jose State University in California in 1993. Over the course of 16 years, she lectured at five universities and community colleges throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in California and in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Upon retirement from teaching in 2012, Laurel became what is known today as a multi-passionate entrepreneur.
Her ability to break down overarching spiritual and success concepts into bite-sized pieces is what makes her a standout in her field. Through her teaching, coaching and speaking, she has inspired thousands of people to live a life they love.
Laurel currently resides in Tucson, Arizona.

I was fortunate to have had Laurel Joakimides as a planner and facilitator to help create a strategic vision through her Generative Leadership training for the Ross Ragland Theater Board of Directors when I was Executive Director. She started the process with helping each individual begin shaping a personal vision for themselves and the Theater. We opened the vision for the entire organization and came together to develop a shared vision of the future. Afterward, we embarked on a planning day based on the shared vision. It was truly a thorough and delightful process because it created space for us to look inside ourselves as individuals coming together for an organization.
